Everyone will gather in the park and have a wet, fun time!

  • The event will be on Saturday, September 2nd from 10:00 am until noon.

  • You will get wet, so please bring a change of clothes.
  • If you have a water gun of your own, please feel free to bring it.
  • Let’s Enjoy “Nagashi-Somen”

Somen is a kind of Japanese noodle that is white and thinner than a ramen noodle.

“Nagashi-Somen” is a Japanese traditional summer activity where somen noodles slide past you on a little water slide as you try to catch them with your chopsticks.

The word “nagashi” in Japanese means “to flow past.”

Try to catch the noodles before they flow past you!

  • The event will be on Saturday, September 9th from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm.  If it rains, the event will be cancelled.
  • 10 people will be able to eat at one time.  As the event goes on, they will rotate who is eating.
  • Please bring your own cup and chopsticks, in order to cut down on the amount of garbage.
  • You can participate in the event even if you don’t have a cup or chopsticks.
