How to join Manmaru Akashi

We were originally a small group that helped foreigners in Japan by teaching them Japanese and various other things. Slowly we gained more members and increased the number of different activities that we did. Eventually, we became the “Non-Profit Organization Manmaru Akashi.”
A non-profit organization, or NPO, is an organization that is dedicated to helping people without worrying about making a profit. In order to support our activities, we need friends who are willing to join us as members. We would love it if you became a member of Manmaru Akashi and joined us in our activities!
There are different types of membership, which are written below. If you would like to become a member, then please contact us!

Membership Types

Regular Member	Membership fee: 3,000 yen for one year Regular members are volunteers who will help us with our work. (1)“Develop” Volunteers in this group work with the “Future Classroom.” This class teaches children both Japanese and also various school subjects. These volunteers help take care of small children. (2)“Support” Volunteers in this group work with the “Foreign Ladies’ Gathering.” This group is a place for foreign ladies to meet. These volunteers will think of ideas for what the Foreign Ladies’ Gathering can do, as well as helping the group on the days that it meets. (3)“Connect” Volunteers in this group work with the “International Cooking Class.” This is a class that cooks various dishes from around the world. These volunteers will think of what dishes to cook, as well as helping on the days that the class meets. Volunteers in this group will also work with the “World Festival Akashi.” These volunteers will think of what will be done at the World Festival, as well as helping on the days when the World Festival happens. If you want to become a regular member, then please join group (1), (2), or (3) and work alongside the other volunteers. Regular members are able to join the general meeting. This meeting is where the various planned activities for the year are decided. Members will be automatically sent the Manmaru Report. This report will give details on Manmaru Akashi’s activities. Supporting Member	Membership fee: 5,000 yen for one year • These members will support Manmaru Akashi’s various activities. • Members will be automatically sent the Manmaru Report. This report will give details on Manmaru Akashi’s activities. • Members will be able to use the books and various other materials at Manmaru Akashi. Download and Print the “Application to Become a Supporting Member”
Supporting Business	Membership fee: 10,000 yen for one year •These are businesses or corporations who will support Manmaru Akashi’s various activities. •Members will be automatically sent the Manmaru Report. This report will give details on Manmaru Akashi’s activities. •Members will be able to use the books and various other materials at Manmaru Akashi.
