The Akashi Newsletter (Koho Akashi) is a newsletter published by Akashi City. It releases on the 1st and the 15th of each month. There are many announcements in each issue of the Akashi Newsletter. The Akashi Planetarium Will Be Visiting the Akashi Citizens’ Plaza!!
The Akashi Planetarium will be creating a planetarium exhibit at the Akashi Citizens’ Plaza, where people can come and see an exhibition of the stars and planets. There will be different photographs and artwork to teach visitors about the wonders of space.
Dates: From Friday, January 23rd to Sunday, January 25th.
Location: The Akashi Citizens’ Plaza

There Will Be a “Stargazing Event”!
A “stargazing event” is a special night-time event where you can use a telescope to see the stars. It’s a fun opportunity to look up into the night sky!
Date and Time: Saturday, January 31st, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Location: Akashi Park, East Lawn Open Space (東芝生広場, higashi shibafu hiroba)
Cost: Free
How to Apply: Please come and apply to join directly at the event.

Vlas Kobara, a Russian Person Living in Japan, Will Be Giving a Talk in Akashi
The title of the talk is “Vlas Kobara, Speaking About How to Live Life on Your Own Terms.”
Vlas Kobara was born in Russia, but he lived in Japan from when he was a small child. He has appeared on TV multiple times. He writes books and works to help foreign people who have come to Japan. As a Russian person living in Japan, Vlas Kobara will have a lot of interesting things to share.
Date and Time: Friday, February 6th, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Location: Meridian Hall (ASPIA Akashi North Building, 9th Floor)
Maximum Number of Participants: Up to 290 people
