Please Help Out by Recycling Small Electronics and Frying Oil
The city of Akashi is collecting used frying oil and small electronics that people are no longer using. The city wants to recycle these things so that they can serve a new purpose.
There are 48 different types of “small electronics”, including computers, mobile phones, printers, and more. These electronics contain valuable metals. By recycling the electronics, these metals can be used to make new products.
Akashi City is also collecting used frying oil, because the city puts this oil to use for various purposes. For example, it is used in the garbage trucks that go around collecting garbage throughout the city.
There are various recycling boxes around Akashi where you can put the electronics that you no longer need. For more details, and for information on the locations of these boxes, please check the Akashi City website.
