The Akashi Newsletter (Koho Akashi) is a newsletter published by Akashi City. It releases on the 1st and the 15th of each month. There are many announcements in each issue of the Akashi Newsletter. We have selected five of the most important or useful announcements and translated them into English.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Announcements from the Akashi Planetarium<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Akashi Planetarium Will Be Visiting the Akashi Citizens\u2019 Plaza!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Akashi Planetarium will be creating a planetarium exhibit at the Akashi Citizens\u2019 Plaza, where people can come and see an exhibition of the stars and planets.\u00a0 There will be different photographs and artwork to teach visitors about the wonders of space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dates: From Friday, January 23rd<\/sup> to Sunday, January 25th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: The Akashi Citizens\u2019 Plaza<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There Will Be a \u201cStargazing Event\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A \u201cstargazing event\u201d is a special night-time event where you can use a telescope to see the stars.\u00a0 It\u2019s a fun opportunity to look up into the night sky!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date and Time: Saturday, January 31st<\/sup>, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Akashi Park, East Lawn Open Space (\u6771\u829d\u751f\u5e83\u5834, higashi shibafu hiroba<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost: Free<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Apply: Please come and apply to join directly at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vlas Kobara, a Russian Person Living in Japan, Will Be Giving a Talk in Akashi<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The title of the talk is \u201cVlas Kobara, Speaking About How to Live Life on Your Own Terms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vlas Kobara was born in Russia, but he lived in Japan from when he was a small child.\u00a0 He has appeared on TV multiple times. He writes books and works to help foreign people who have come to Japan.\u00a0 As a Russian person living in Japan, Vlas Kobara will have a lot of interesting things to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date and Time: Friday, February 6th<\/sup>, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
