It releases on the 1st and the 15th of each month. There are many announcements in each issue of the Akashi Newsletter. Check and <\/strong><strong>Be Certain That You\u2019re Prepared for an Earthquake<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no way of knowing when an earthquake might happen.\u00a0 Are you prepared so that you and your family can stay safe if an earthquake happens?\u00a0 Please check the following points and make sure:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Is your bedroom safe?&nbsp; How about the entryway to your home?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the big dangers in an earthquake is furniture falling over.&nbsp; It may hurt somebody, start a fire, or prevent you from quickly exiting the room.&nbsp; The two places in your home that you want to be especially certain are safe are your bedroom and the entryway.&nbsp; There are special fixtures or items you can get that will help prevent your furniture from falling over, so be sure to make use of those.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an earthquake, the floor is often covered in pieces of broken glass.\u00a0 Be sure to keep slippers or some other footwear in your bedroom so that you can put them on and walk around more safely in the event of an earthquake.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\u00a0 Do you have at least three days\u2019 worth of food, water, and other necessary items?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Water:&nbsp; An adult needs 3 liters of water per day.&nbsp; You should prepare 9 liters of water so that you have enough for 3 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food:&nbsp; Good options are preserved and long-lasting foods such as rice, canned foods, cup noodles, \u201cretort\u201d curry (curry in a bag), snacks, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A portable gas stove and canisters of gas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A flashlight and batteries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A portable battery charger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A portable toilet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toilet paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plastic wrap and aluminum foil (normally these are used for food, but you can also use them to wrap around somebody\u2019s body along with towels or newspapers if they are injured or cold)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"744\" height=\"197\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u9632\u707d\u7528\u54c1\u307e\u3068\u3081\u3066.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1492\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>3.\u00a0 Do you know how to find out necessary information?\u00a0 Have you confirmed how to contact your family in case of an emergency?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s very important to stay updated with accurate information in case of an earthquake.\u00a0 Also, so you don\u2019t have to worry about their safety, be sure to talk with your family about how to contact each other in case of an emergency.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions about this article, please contact the General Safety Planning Office.&nbsp; Their phone number is 078-918-5069.&nbsp; Their fax number is 078-918-5140.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Soon, You Will be Able to Do \u201cCashless Payment\u201d at The Akashi Multi-Purpose Service Counter<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Akashi Multi-Purpose Service Counter (\u3042\u304b\u3057\u7dcf\u5408\u7a93\u53e3, <em>Akashi Sougou Madoguchi<\/em>) is located on the 6<sup>th<\/sup> floor of Papios Akashi in front of Akashi station.\u00a0 This service counter allows you to do various kinds of important paperwork or get important forms.\u00a0 For example, you can get your certificate of residence, register your <em>inkan<\/em> (seal) with the city, get a proof of tax payment form, etc.\u00a0 Starting on January 20<sup>th<\/sup>, you will no longer need cash to pay for those services.\u00a0 You\u2019ll be able to pay more conveniently through cards or other means.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions about this article, please contact the Akashi Multi-Purpose Service Counter.&nbsp; Their phone number is 078-918-5645.&nbsp; Their fax number is 078-918-5646.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Akashi Newsletter (Koho Akashi) is a newsletter published by Akashi City.
