It releases on the 1st and the 15th of each month. There are many announcements in each issue of the Akashi Newsletter. Let us introduce a few of those places that you can get to by bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(1)<strong>Ishigadani Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"261\" height=\"208\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u77f3\u30f6\u8c37.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1313\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This park is famous for its plum blossoms, but the cherry blossoms here are beautiful as well.&nbsp; The cherry blossoms are at their most beautiful from the end of March to the beginning of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting There by \ud83d\ude8c: &nbsp;From the north side of JR Okubo Station, it takes 10 minutes on the Shinki Bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boarding the Bus:&nbsp; Get on the \u201c#6, Bound for Akashi Central Gymnasium\u201d (\uff16\u756a\u3000\u660e\u77f3\u4e2d\u592e\u4f53\u80b2\u9928\u884c\u304d) bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting off the Bus: Get off at the \u201cAkashi Central Gymnasium\u201d (\u660e\u77f3\u4e2d\u592e\u4f53\u80b2\u9928) stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2)<strong>Kanagasaki Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"261\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u91d1\u30b1\u5d0e.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1314\" style=\"width:251px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the cherry blossoms.&nbsp; There are all kinds of birds to see here, too.&nbsp; The cherry blossoms are at their most beautiful from the end of March to the beginning of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting There by \ud83d\ude8c:&nbsp; From JR Uozumi Station\u2019s north exit, take the Mini Octopus Bus (\u305f\u3053\u30d0\u30b9\u30df\u30cb).&nbsp; It takes about 13 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boarding the Bus:&nbsp; Get on the \u201c#8, Kanagasaki Route\u201d (\uff18\u756a\u3000\u91d1\u30b1\u5d0e\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8) bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting off the Bus: Get off at the \u201cKitaura\u201d (\u5317\u6d66) stop.&nbsp; From there, it is about a 5-minute walk north.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(3)<strong>Akashi Seaside Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"157\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u3064\u3064\u3058.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1315\" style=\"width:200px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a spacious park with 600 cherry trees in bloom.&nbsp; The blossoms are at their best from the end of March to the beginning of April.&nbsp; In addition, the rhododendron flowers that bloom in this park are also quite famous.&nbsp; The best time to see the rhododendrons is from the end of April to the beginning of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting There by \ud83d\ude8c:&nbsp; From the south exit of JR Tsuchiyama Station, it takes about 24 minutes on the Sanyo Bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boarding the Bus:&nbsp; Get on the \u201c#70, Artificial Island Loop\u201d (\uff17\uff10\u756a\u3000\u4eba\u5de5\u5cf6\u5185\u5faa\u74b0) bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting off the Bus: Get off at the \u201cIn Front of Seaside Pool\u201d (\u6d77\u6d5c\u30d7\u30fc\u30eb\u524d) stop.&nbsp; The park will be right in front of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(4)<strong>Yakushi-in Temple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"215\" height=\"124\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u30dc\u30bf\u30f3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1316\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see the lovely peony flowers at this temple from up close.&nbsp; The peony flowers are at their best from mid to late April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting There by \ud83d\ude8c:&nbsp; From the south exit of JR Uozumi Station, take the Octopus Bus (\u305f\u3053\u30d0\u30b9).&nbsp; It will take about 7 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boarding the Bus:&nbsp; Get on the \u201c#12, Nishioka East Route\u201d (\uff11\uff12\u756a\u3000\u897f\u5ca1\u6771\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8) bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting off the Bus: Get off at the \u201cPeony Temple Entrance\u201d (\u307c\u305f\u3093\u5bfa\u53e3) stop.&nbsp; It will be about a 3-minute walk to the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(5)<strong>Sumiyoshi Shrine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"181\" height=\"149\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u3042\u3058\u3055\u3044.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1317\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sumiyoshi Shrine is famous for its many beautiful hydrangeas.&nbsp; They are at their most beautiful from the beginning to the middle of June.&nbsp; Every year in the middle of June, they hold a \u201cHydrangea Festival\u201d here.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting There by \ud83d\ude8c:&nbsp; From the south exit of JR Uozumi Station, take the Octopus Bus (\u305f\u3053\u30d0\u30b9).&nbsp; It will take about 4 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boarding the Bus:&nbsp; Get on either the \u201c#7, West Eigashima Route\u201d (\uff17\u756a\u3000\u897f\u6c5f\u4e95\u5cf6\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8) bus or the \u201c#12, Nishioka East Route\u201d (\uff11\uff12\u756a\u3000\u897f\u5ca1\u6771\u30eb\u30fc\u30c8) bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting off the Bus: Get off at the \u201cSanyo Uozumi Station\u201d stop.&nbsp; It will be about a 5-minute walk to the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"475\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u753b\u50cf2-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1319\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2605Come See Cherry Blossoms at Akashi Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akashi Park is a park on what used to be the grounds of Akashi Castle.&nbsp; It\u2019s very famous for the many cherry blossom trees that bloom here.&nbsp; There are over 1,000 of them, and you can enjoy the lovely sight of the cherry blossoms alongside the ruins of the old castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, the Japan Weather Association releases an announcement of when the cherry blossoms are expected to bloom across the country.&nbsp; According to their announcement, the cherry blossoms in Akashi Park are expected to bloom starting from March 25<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"231\" height=\"171\" src=\"https:\/\/manmaru-akashi.com\/en\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u753b\u50cf1-17.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1318\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">(The picture is from the Akashi Park\u2019s official website)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Notifications About Coronavirus Vaccinations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Free Coronavirus vaccinations will only be available until March 31<sup>st<\/sup> of 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To check and see who is eligible to get the vaccine, where to get the vaccine, and how to make a reservation, please check the Akashi City website.&nbsp; (If you check the QR code on the right, you can look at the Coronavirus page.)\u3000\u3000\u3000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"swell-block-button is-style-btn_normal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.city.akashi.lg.jp\/kansentaisaku\/wakutin\/top-ver2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"swell-block-button__link\"><span>Akashi city<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If you are 12 years old or older and have not yet received your 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> vaccinations, you can get them on the following days:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd:\u00a0 Saturday, March 30th, 2024, from 9:00 am.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From April of 2024, the process to get the Coronavirus vaccination is going to change.\u00a0 Please check the Akashi City website to see what the new process will be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"background-color: var(--color_content_bg);
