There Will Be a “World Festival Akashi” Event

Date and Time:  March 30th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Place:  Akashi Citizens’ Plaza (Papios Akashi, 2nd Floor)

Event Description:  There will be various different dances, songs, and performances from around the world.  You can also buy different products from around the world.

There is no need to apply or register to join the event.

he “Akashi Universal Dental Clinic” Will Be Changing Its Hours of Operation

The “Akashi Universal Dental Clinic” is a dentist’s office where you can get a dental checkup even on

Sundays or holidays.  It is open to anyone.  However, starting from April of this year, the clinic’s hours of operation on Sundays and holidays will be changing.

Hours of Operation:

Up to March: From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

From April:  From 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

*During Golden Week and the year-end/New Year holidays, the clinic will be open until 2:00 p.m.

Location:  Takasho-machi 1-33 (At the same location as the Akashi City Hospital)

Notification About Changes to Paying Utility Bills at the Resona Bank

From April 1st, you will no longer be able to pay health insurance, public utility, and other bills using a payment slip (納付書 noufusho) at the Resona Bank service counter.  If you want to pay your bills at a bank service counter, you will have to go to a different bank.  If you check the Akashi City website, you can check and see what banks will still allow you to pay utility bills.

Please note that if you are paying your bills directly from your bank account, then you will still be able to do that just like you did before.  In addition, if the payment slip that you receive has a QR code on it, then you will still be able to pay that bill at the service counter.
