Come Play in the Sea in Akashi
In Akashi City, there are four places where you can swim in the ocean. Those beaches, the dates when they are open, and what facilities they have available, are written in the chart below.
◎At the Okura Beach “Nature Observation Center”, children can learn about and look at different sea creatures.
The Nature Observation Center has things such as tools to help you observe the animals, as well as lifejackets and other gear to keep you safe while you are observing them. These can be borrowed for free.
- Days when the Nature Observation Center is Open for Use: Every Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holiday until September 1st.
- Time when the Nature Observation Center is Open for Use: From 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
If the weather is bad, or the water level of the ocean is too high, then the Nature Observation Center may be closed. If you would like more information, please contact the Okura Beach Park Administrative Office.
